Infact Mr. Gramantieri did not use the sound of the Ethane 3220 (clevo
manifactuer). The solution was very simple. Bought the OSSdriver and
install them (they did not work on esound 0.22).
I've just tried to play artsd in console, this is the problem:
--------------------------------------------------------------
bash-2.05# artsd -l0 -F10 -S4096
autodetecting driver:
- null: 0
- oss: 10
... which means we'll default to oss

addDirectory(/opt/kde/lib/mcop/Arts,Arts)
addDirectory(/opt/kde/lib/mcop/Noatun,Noatun)
addDirectory(/root/.mcop/trader-cache,)

now I play a sound with konqueror (but I try with sox, xmms, cat /sound >
/dev/dsp, etc), clicking on the file, and the console give me (following
the lines above, I got copying from the term):
------------------------------------------------------------------

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------The
'/opt/kde/lib/libarts_mpeglib.la' exist and exist the source too that it links.
After I've lunched artsd, I try to play a song with xmms, instead for ex.
konqueror, or sox, etc. it give me back an error saying me that the
soundcard is busy or it's not configured.
If I kill artsd, xmms plays the song very well :)
this is what happen with my tux sing :) ... can you say me something ?

they make it now.
