/usr/bin/htmldoc -t pdf --size 'A4' --webpage 'pagina.html' -f 'file.pdf'

Personalmente lo utilizzo per generare report da PHP se la struttura 
dell'html è semplice, funziona tranquillamente. Ti consiglio di leggere nel 
manuale sui tag html supportati
