Avevo capito che il probema fosse solo delle prese anteriori.

Sì, te lo confermo. La gestione delle prese, in windows avviene via
software e tu puoi mettere ciò che vuoi dove vuoi.  Bisogna vedere se
linux riesce a gestirle allo stesso modo. Nel Pc di mia moglie ho
provato a far girare delle distro in modalità live; non ho provato con
il microfono ma l'uscita audio è corretta e in stereo.
Anche se le ho collegate alla scheda madre, le prese anteriori sul
case non le ho provate.
