Hi everyone,

August is coming, and with it, the OpenStreetMap Birthday! It is considered to be on the 9th, and we celebrate it on weekends. This year I took the liberty to set the official anniversary date to:

Sunday, 13th of August

Now it is time to plan events, be it mapping parties or gatherings at a pub. The best way you can show your fondness of the OpenStreetMap is by getting together with fellow mappers. And maybe baking a thematic cake :) Add your event to the list and promote it locally:
