glug: problema rete (?)

quando tento di avviare la rete sul mio portatile ottengo :


Configuro i parametri di rete:                                  [   OK  ] 
Attivazione interfaccia di loopback:                            [   OK   ]
Attivo l'interfaccia eth0:                                      [FALLITO ]

il fatto è che la rete sembra funzionare correttamente , posta , samba , ecc.
Mi chiedo a cosa sia dovuto questo [FALLITO] e come posso avere più 
informazioni sull'errore ...
suggerimenti ?
