[gpm] Linux console and GPM pointer

Please forgive the delay. Due to high work load I didn't even browse the

Yes. The kernel just doesn't keep the mouse pointer up to date
so as soon as there is console activity, it restores the original
charcell before modidying the screen, and that's it.

You can use GPM_DRAWPOINTER(), though (see gpm info pages), after
you know you modified the screen. To do this you need to keep track
of where the pointer is, obviouslty, but this is not a problem as
you can get GPM_MOVE notified to the application. Please see
the "Event Types" page in the info documentation for gpm.
