new (or old) way of synching

Today after great battle with installing windows (i of course fell, because of 
some drive errors) I found new way of synching jornada under linux. I've 
found a little and usefull app named synce (look at 
http://www.synce.sourceforge.net) it works like activesync if you also 
install synce-kde package (i use Debian so instaling is simple with apt-get 
^_^). And BTW Dave how do you divide memory on your jornada to make it boot 
to linux. I can't get it to work if i want to boot kernel above 3MB with 
ramdisk.
