X problem

I have a problem with running X. I know that Oleg was able to run them  
(although very slow). So i got his Tar from the site, but my device  
freezes with a black screen. I'm not sure where's the problem. I thought  
it may be that there's no  real devfs mounted, so i started devfsd, made  
needed symlinks and it went the same. any suggestions? I just want to see  
X on j820 even if they are hell slow.
