Linux will take over the whole memory in the default setup and overwrite
all the wince stuff in RAM. The wince itself can't be destroyed because
it is in the real mask ROM.

It depends on the kernel setup. In a worst case you need to take out
both batteries, and then reload/reset the settings and data on the ramdisk
from your backup.
