Problems getting Linux running...

Hello,

I tried to install linux according to the Jornada820-Wiki page on SF. 
The problem is, that as soon there is a Linux-partition on the CF-card, 
he tries to chroot it. So I am not able to copy the modules.tar.bz2 to 
the other partition, nor can I change the root pw. What am I doing wrong?

I tried to create the ext2 partition on the Jornada itself, but there is 
no mkfs.ext2 on the intitial  boot image, so this didn't work either.
