Unununium is a an operating system, striving to create a better
computing environment by maximizing interconnection between components.

*More Interconnection*
Why can I not use my favorite text editor to edit text input fields on a
webpage? The notion that an application is a "box", and this application
may use "libraries" but not other "applications" is absurd. A text
editor should not be an application partitioned from all others, but
rather a component which can be used to edit any text. The computing
environment should not be a flat set of applications, but rather a
hierarchy of components which can be interconnected in any configuration.
Data should be accessed in a universal way. Current systems all have a
filesystem, and the scope of this filesystem never includes all data
available for use. For example, why are files retrieved from the
internet via HTTP in a different namespace than files on the local disk?
All data should be available through a common interface so that things
which manipulate data do so independantly of the source of the data.
