[Primipassi] Qmail e debian

cercando Qmail, finisco per leggere questa, scritta dallo stesso autore
di Qmail. Mi chiedo in questi casi come si "debba" agire, rendendomi
nche conto che se lo voglio installare, lo installo e basta...

software are not included in the Debian
   archive and so unofficial. This web page gives an answer to this

   Software released by Dan J Bernstein does not comply with the Debian
Policy (Section 2.1.1 and 10.1.1) and so can
   not go into main.   
     * Violation of section 2.1.1:
       Dan J Bernstein's Information for Distributors shows the
violation of Derived Works and Integrity of The
       Author's Source Code in section 2.1.1
     * Violation of section 10.1.1:
       Dan J Bernstein's software installations do not follow the
Filesystem Hierarchy Standard. See /package for
       his reasons.

leggendo oltre si vede anche come il programma nn compaia nemmeno nelle
applicazioni non-free, una polemica rispetto a netscape e altro ancora,
tra cui tutti i pacchetti da scaricare o gli indirizzi da mettere nel
apt-setup. Voi che fareste?
