Il modulo del kernel, magari non l'hai compilato per il kernel in uso
ma per una vecchia versione. Prova a dare pure un depmod -ae prima,
tanto per essere sicuri
Cmq, AFAIK, ndiswrapper -l dovrebbe dire

Ma magari la prova la hai fatta senza modem attaccato ;)
