Ciao a tutti.
Devo tradurre la seguente frase:

An entitled person who calls the modem is varied for the first time in
Linux server.
Then on the user's side the "hang up modem" is switched on.

Una persona autorizzata che chiama il modem e' ??? una prima volta dal
server Linux.
Poi dal lato untente il modem e' riagganciato.

Per cosa sta varied? Dal contesto mi verrebbe da dire autenticato, ma
non so se e' corretto.
E la seconda frase mi piace poco come m'e' venuta.
