gnome-terminal nuove stringhe

Mah, per quello che ho visto aspettati che un sacco di queste ti
riappaiano fuzzate prima o poi. Pare che ci sia una sorta di modo
corretto di scrivere descrizioni brevi e lunghe delle chiavi GConf
descritte nei file schema, e non mi sembra che queste le seguano.

Ad esempio laddove spesso dice "questa opzione ...." dovrebbe diventate
"questa chiave", oppure nelle short non dovrebbe esserci in punto alla
fine e via discorrendo.

Altre indicazioni su queste descrizioni, che ho messo dove opportuno ma
che ti riassumo ora all'inizio, sono:
     1. i valori delle chiavi non vanno tradotti e vanno tra "", come
        dovrebbe essere in originale (tranne i valori numerici).
        Motivazione: i valori delle chiavi non sono traducibili!!
     2. se una chiave fa riferimento ad un altra il nome di quest'ultima
        non va tradotto (tipicamente cose con un _, ma non è detto che
        non sia una parola singola). Motivazioni: i nomi delle chiavi
        non sono traducibili.

CMQ copioincollo un po' di parti della style-guide della doc di GNOME su
questo argomento. Non c'è alcuna certezza che siano usati poi
correttamente, ma uficialmente dovrebbe essere come segue

Modifier



Definition:

The key on your keyboard that you
have defined as the modifier key.

Usage:

Initial uppercase letter.

Use the keycap tag with the term
Modifier when you use the term in a
shortcut key.

Example:

The default shortcut key to open the
Global Menu is Modifier+F1.

Note:

You can define a modifier key for
the Sawfish window manager in the
Sawfish window manager capplet. The
modifier key for Sawfish can be
different to the modifier key for
the desktop. You might need to
clarify which modifier key you use
in a specific section of your
documentation.

"current deve" andare non tradotto, è un valore specifico di una chiave
di registro e tali chiavi rimangono in inglese (quindi se hai fatto la
stessa cosa altrove correggi :-)

PS Perchè non mettere solo "Codifica" come voce di menù?

Nelle analoghe traduzioni di gnome-panel e nautilus sto usando una forma
del tipo "Se impostata a vero, <frase>". Notare la forma femminile,
visto che si parla di una chiave. 

Ovviamente nessun obbligo ad adottare tale formula.
