Forse starebbe meglio specificando il soggetto:
"... di dover inserire una password ogni volta che ..."

Io separerei le due frasi con una virgola o un punto e virgola, non con un

Metterei solamente "questo implica ...", per alleggerire un po' la frase.

Dimmi cosa ne pensi di questa:

Togli pure le virgolette intorno a "backend": non è un termine così strano da 
dover essere sottolineato.

Terminerei la frase con:
"... se questa non usa SSL" oppure
"... se questa non è configurata per l'uso di SSL."
