[FoLUG] stampante ad aghi

Mi trovo nella necessità di collegare (e far funzionare!) una stampante 
ad aghi ad una macchina Linux.
Solitamente con winz mi è capitato spesso di configurare le stampanti di 
questo tipo come "generic text only"
e di vederle funzionare correttamente. E' possibile una cosa analoga 
anche con Linux e cups? La stampante
in questione sarebbe la epson lx300+.
