[Primipassi] Installazione programmi

Arrivando a fare un upgrade dei pacchetti con apt-get
mi appare la seguente dicitura di errore. La stessa
appare provando ad installare pkg, garnome e gtk

dpkg: 'ldconfig' not found PATH
dpkg: 'start-stop-daemon' not found PATH
dpkg: 'install-info' not found PATH
dpkg: 'update-rc.d' not found PATH
dpkg: 4 expected program(s) not found on PATH
NB: root's PATH should usually contain
/usr/local/sbin, /user/sbin and /sbin.
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code
(2) Some errors occurred while unpacking. I'm going to
configure the packages taht are installed. This may
result in duplicate errors or errors caused by missing
dependencies. This is OK, only the errors above this
message are important. Please fix them and run
[I]nstall again


Provo a reinstallare ma mi appare il solito messaggio.
Che vuol dire? E soprattutto che posso fare?
