Come ti ha già detto Giuseppe qui sopra devi mettere i valori corretti.
Secondo me hai preso template.pot, l'hai copiato in it.po e hai iniziato
a tradurre. La prossima volta prova a usare: 
msginit -i templates.pot -o it.po
