Nuovo arrivato

Buonasera a tutti,

sono un nuovo arrivato sulla mailing list. Essendo utente Gnu/Linux da anni, penso sia arrivato il momento di dare in qualche modo una mano alla community. Non essendo uno sviluppatore, la traduzione è l'unica via: penso infatti di avere una conoscenza adeguata dell'inglese per provare a farlo.

Ho letto buona parte delle indicazioni generali in http://tp.linux.it/, ed i messaggi della mailing list negli ultimi giorni.

Ho inoltre inviato la liberatoria alla FSF, dato un'occhiata ai pacchetti da tradurre, e avevo pensato di chiedervi di lavorare ad un progetto piccolo come glunarclock, perché penso di poter effettivamente imparare solo scontrandomi con le difficoltà reali di una effettiva traduzione. Sono consapevole che si tratta di una applet di Gnome, e quindi dovrei seguire ancor più strettamente le linee-guida per la traduzione di Gnome in

Non ho voluto provare a correggere le traduzioni inviate, perché temo di non essere all'altezza -- essendo quelle state fatte da persone più qualificate di me in questo campo.
Pensate che sia il caso per me di iniziare direttamente a lavorare su glunarclock (o su qualcos'altro che ritenete più urgente)?
